CTA extends bus routes to city beaches for summer

CHICAGO – The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is adjusting transportation for the summer.

Last weekend, the CTA began their temporary changes to bus routes and schedules.

Modifications include additional buses servicing popular destinations such as beaches, museums, and Navy Pier.

There are 13 routes with additional transportation or extended routes.

TheĀ  CTA is also temporarily cutting back 13 school routes since they are not used as much during the summer.
