CHICAGO - It's been quite a week for Blackhawks and their fans here in Chicago. The first Stanley Cup championship clinched in the city since 1938 has set off another major celebration for the team now flirting with a hockey dynasty.
On Thursday Chicago gave the champion Blackhawks a great sendoff.
Over 2 million fans came out to the parade for the Blackhawks downtown and then some of them headed over to the ticketed rally at Soldier Field about an hour later.
Enthusiasm was high among the fans and they showed it through their posts to social media throughout the day.
On Thursday's edition of Sports Feed, the Hawks' were a major topic of discussion for Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman. They broke down the event from the speeches of the players to the tweets from the fans.
