Cubs Game Notes For Sunday @ Cincinnati

* The Chicago Cubs have taken three of four from the Cincinnati Reds so far this season, a stark change from the teams’ matchups in recent seasons. (2010  4-12, 2011 7-11, 2012  4-12, 2013  5-14, 2014  8-11).

*The Cubs are -6 runs in the first six innings of games this year while the Reds are +5, but the Cubs are +14 from the seventh inning on (3rd-best in MLB) while the Reds are -12 (T27th).

* Kris Bryant certainly has spent plenty of time on base over his last seven games, with 20 times on in 34 chances (.588).

* After struggling against Cincinnati in his first three seasons with no HRs and a .193 BA, Anthony Rizzo has become a nightmare for the Reds over the last two seasons with 10 HRs and .371 BA

* Anthony DeSclafani has tossed 21 innings over his first three starts of the season, allowing just two total runs in the process.
