MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Wild defeated the St. Louis Blues Sunday afternoon 4-1, securing a matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round of the NHL postseason.

The Blackhawks were 3-2 against the Wild during the regular season. Chicago advanced to Round 2 after their Saturday night victory over the Nashville Predators on a goal by Duncan Keith in the final minutes.

The series will be a rematch of the 2014 postseason, in which the Blackhawks defeated the Wild in a six-game semifinal series.

The winner of that series will move on to the Western Conference Final to face either the Calgary Flames or Anaheim Ducks.
