Green Bay Packers to host Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving night: report
GREEN BAY, Wis. — The full NFL schedule is set to be released Tuesday night, but at least one of the Bears’ upcoming contests already appears set in stone.
ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports the Chicago Bears will travel to Green Bay, Wis., for a primetime Thanksgiving night game against the Packers.
The Bears were 0-2 against Green Bay last season, and watched their bitter rivals win the NFC North division and make it to the NFC championship where they eventually lost to the Seattle Seahawks. The Bears also suffered a NFC North winner-take-all Week 17 loss to Green Bay at home the season before.
According to reports the game will also mark the first time that the Packers have hosted a Thanksgiving game at Lambeau Field since 1923.
According to multiple reports Green Bay will retire Brett Favre’s number during the game.
The full 2015 NFL schedule is expected to be released Tuesday at around 7 p.m. central.
