Michael Jordan statue relocated at United Center during construction

CHICAGO -- The Michael Jordan statue outside the United Center has been moved

The statue was taken from the east side of the United Center, to the southeast corner near Gate 5.

The pedestal will stay put.

This is all to make room for the construction of a new office building.

The Jordan statue will return to its original spot after the building is finished.
