Boy, 13, shot in Englewood

CHICAGO — A 13-year-old boy was shot in the city’s Englewood neighborhood Wednesday night.

It happened around 10 p.m. at 57th and Bishop.

Police say the teenager was walking down the street when two people approached him and shot him in the leg.

They then ran off.

The teen is in stable condition at Comer Children’s Hospital.

No suspects are in custody.
