A former companion to playboy founder Hugh Hefner says she thought about killing herself while she was a bunny.

Holly Madison details this in her upcoming memoir "Down the Rabbit Hole." Madison, who starred in the Playboy-centered reality show "The Girls Next Door," writes that she lost her identify, self-worth and hope while living at the Playboy Mansion. The book also details fights among playboy bunnies and the mansion's strict rules.

Madison, 35, is now married and the mother of a young daughter.

"Down the Rabbit Hole" will be released in June.
