2 Chicago firefighters injured in West Side fire
CHICAGO — Two Chicago firefighters were hurt while trying to put out a fire on the West Side.
The fire started around 2:40 a.m. Monday in a commercial building in the 2200 block of West Grand.
Fire officials say one firefighter fell. The injury is not believed to be serious.
The second firefighter also had non-life threatening injuries– but it’s not clear how that happened.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
