Video from TMZ appears to show the moment “Suge” Knight collapses in a courtroom following a bail hearing.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Former rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight collapsed in a courtroom Friday shortly after a judge ordered him held on $25 million bail in a murder case.
Knight’s attorney Matthew Fletcher said his client is being kept in solitary confinement without proper access to medication.
Fletcher said Knight hit his head on a chair when he fell after the bail hearing.
Bailiffs cleared the courtroom after Knight’s medical episode and paramedics were seen going into the courtroom a few minutes later.
Fletcher said Knight was unconscious when the lawyer left the courtroom and an update on his condition was not immediately available.
The 49-year-old co-founder of Death Row Records has pleaded not guilty. He’s accused of striking two people with his vehicle in a Compton parking lot.
