CHICAGO -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been informed that he will be traded to the New York Jets.
According to NFL Network, Marshall caught 61 passes for 721 yards and eight receiving touchdowns in 2014, but was at the center of locker room issues during a tumultuous campaign that saw the Bears finish 5-11.
The Bears have not released a formal statement about the trade.
Radio Host Jason Goff, with 670 The Score called Marshall "the most talented wide receiver that the Bears probably have ever had." But he added Marshall had one of the most disappointing stints. Goff called it "the unfulfilled potential of this Offense, along with Jay Cutler."
There is no word from the Bears about Cutler's status.
