Pedestrian struck and killed on West Side

CHICAGO -- A crash involving several cars on Chicago’s West Side leaves one person dead Thursday.

According to witnesses, a Cadillac spun out of control on Pulaski near Gladys St and struck a pedestrian before hitting some parked cars.

Chicago Fire Dept says three people were inside the car that lost control. They were rushed to Cook County hospital in serious condition.

The pedestrian was taken to Mt. Sinai and later pronounced dead.

Police are investigating.
