EVANSTON, Ill. -- Moving day is tough - but it was a little more difficult for Christopher Enck of Evanston.
On Thursday, Enck moved a whole house - an 87-year-old prairie-style designed by John Van Bergen.
Enck bought it up for only $10 from a real estate developer.
It was built in Wilmette and sat in an Evanston lot the last few months.
The house made its way west on Central from Green Bay Road in three separate pieces.
Crews moved it one mile an hour through tight curves and narrow streets.
It now sits in the 2700 block of Crawford Avenue.
