Man in 20s shot inside Southwest Side McDonald’s

CHICAGO -- Chicago Police and paramedics were on the scene of a shooting at a McDonald's on the city's Southwest Side Monday.

The shooting happened inside a McDonald's restaurant at 3867 South Archer.

A man in his 20s was taken to Mt. Sinai hospital. He is said to have been conscious and responsive after suffering gunshot wounds.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses continued to talk to police around 4:30 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
