Ariel Reboyras

Ariel Reboyras has served as Alderman of the 30th ward since 2003. He is running unopposed for alderman of the 30th Ward. Reboyras was born in New York City and relocated to Chicago with his family at the age of 12.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he majored in education and was the co-captain for the UIC Flames basketball team. He began his career as a teacher with Chicago Public Schools and eventually went to work with the City of Chicago. He did everything from driving a truck to serving as equipment coordinator for the Water Department – eventually being promoted to deputy commissioner for the Department of General Services.
