Shooting suspects surrender after standoff in Aurora

AURORA, IL -- Two men are in custody after a shooting in Montgomery led to a standoff in Aurora.

A man was shot and injured just before 2:30 yesterday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that the shooter went to Aurora.

When they got to the home in the 1100 block of Homer, there was a standoff.

The two men inside ended up surrendering hours later.

A woman who says she's the mom of one of them, says her son called her during the ordealĀ  to say he loved her.

Charges are pending.
