CHICAGO -- Who says Disney World is the happiest place on earth?
On Monday in Chicago, there were nothing but smiles and giggles of delight from parents, kids, sledders and spectators. 19 inches of snow and the bright ball in the sky today is the recipe for one thing.
Some people ran, others launched. Plenty of them wiped out, making the most of a groundhog day sledders would love to repeat over and over gain -- no matter how old they are.
Not too windy, not too cold. Just right. Kids built snowmen at the bottom of hills, trudged their way to the top and squealed with delight as they took pictures and laughed with friends.
It was the stuff good old fashioned memories are made of, with smiles from ear muff to ear muff.
