Possible Ebola patient arriving in Nebraska today

An American health care worker helping Ebola patients in Sierra Leone, will arrive at a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska today.

The worker is said to have had high-risk exposure to the virus, and will now be monitored at Nebraska Medical Center.

The hospital released a statement saying the patient is not ill, and is not contagious.

    OK guys…the Ebola media scare of 2014 is over. Putting that stupid squiggly line in pink behind the typeset …no longer hyping anything…so stop it. Do a real,
    viable story with legs. Like how many died in US by drunk drivers last night or
    how many blacks killed another black in the US last night.
    It’s time to move on as the next big hype disease is right around the corner.

      I am kind of relieved that someone who was exposed to the ebola virus for a period of time has the good sense to isolate themselves for a period of time just to protect the American public. I appreciate that the medical personelle who took the risk in going to west Africa but Americans deserve to be protected also.

        Yes, so scary. The 5 people in the US out of 350 million…there’s a better chance of being killed by the clown car at the circus. It’s really a non factor in the scheme of things.
