Willie Wilson will be on February mayoral ballot
Chicago businessman Willie Wilson will be on the ballot for Mayor in February.
That word from the Chicago Board of Elections as it wrapped up the matter yesterday.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s campaign withdrew its challenge against Wilson. It had alleged the Wilson campaign had fraudulent signatures on its petitions to place Wilson on the ballot.
Wilson’s campaign is calling for an apology.
Twelve-and-a-half thousand signatures are required to get onto the Chicago municipal ballot for mayor.
Wilson’s campaign said it had 14,000 more than that.
