iPhone App of the Year: Elevate

Billed as “your personal brain trainer,” Elevate is a brain training program designed to improve focus, speaking skills, processing speed, memory, math skills, and more. According to the app’s creators, users who train at least 4 times per week have reported dramatic gains and increased confidence.
iPhone Game of the Year: Threes!

A puzzle game tasks players with matching cards of the same numbers, and once you start, you can’t stop! Apple said Threes was “one of the finest number puzzlers we’ve ever played, this little gem is big on charm and clever concepts.”
