A couple in the UK who had been married for 65 years died minutes apart earlier this month.
According to Mirror, Harry, 88, and Mavis Stevenson, 89, lived at a care home in Spondon, Derby.
Harry moved there with Mavis because they did not want to live apart, according to families members.
After her health began to fail, Mavis passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 3.
When the nurses told Harry about his wife’s passing, he shed a few tears. Less than 10 minutes later, he passed away himself.
“They would not have wanted to live without each other, so I think it was the perfect ending,” the couple’s nephew, Stephen Cresswell, told the Mirror.
