Chicago police have arrested one suspect in the sexual assault of two women in the West Town neighborhood earlier this month.
The Chicago Tribune reports 27-year-old Greg Bogacz has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault. He is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail.
The two victims, ages 29 and 30, were assaulted by two suspects early morning on Oct 31 near Lake and Halsted. Surveillance video captured the attack
The Tribune reports investigators say they received “multiple” anonymous calls identifying the attackers by name and date of birth, according to prosecutors, and police were able to find Bogacz after an investigative alert was sent out to police. Both victims identified Bogacz in physical lineups and witnesses identified in photo lineups.
