Bullets strike Lee Elementary School in West Lawn

Chicago police say bullets hit Lee Elementary School in Chicago’s West Lawn neighborhood.

Officers responded to shots fired in the 6400 block of South Tripp  Lee just before 11 a.m.

Witnesses told police they saw bullets fly from a beige sedan and strike the school.

No one was injured.

It appeared that the shooter was firing at another car in traffic.

No one in custody. The investigation is on-going
