One of the highlights from Wednesday night’s Country Music Awards was the performance of a pop hit with a country twist.
Miranda Lambert joined singer Meghan Trainor in singing her mega hit song, “All About That Bass,” and their performance is getting a lot of buzz.
Lambert won four awards and performed twice, including “All About That Bass,” at the CMAs.
Nashville’s biggest party of the year also included a surprise performance from the Queen of Country music, Loretta Lynn. The 82-year-old performed her 1971 hit song “You’re Looking At Country” with Kacey Musgraves.
Musgraves also took home the award for Song of the Year.
Luke Bryan picked up the night’s top honor: Entertainer of the Year.
The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley for the seventh consecutive year.
