Governor-elect Bruce Rauner is already being called out for something he said in his victory speech.

“I placed two very important phone calls. I called Speaker Madigan, I called President Cullerton and I said to them ‘This is an opportunity for us to work together,’” he said.

We're now hearing that rauner did not talk to either Michael Madigan or John Cullerton.

A Cullerton spokesman says they only heard from one of Rauner's aides.

Madigan's office says it has no records of any calls or voicemails, but Rauner's spokesman says there was a voicemail.

Who can believe anything Madigan or Cullerton says? They’ve done nothing but lie about everything! Unfortunately the residents of Illinois are just too stupid to see it! All politicians suck!

I suspect they will do everything they can to sabotage the changes the rest of Illinois residents want. How in the heck these guys have managed to hold on this long is amazing. Yet if you are getting something off the rest of the tax payers in the state, your going to keep these two in office. They know we know what’s going and look down on us.
