Soft lockdown lifted at Highland Park schools after search for robbery suspect

The soft lockdown at some Highland Park schools has just been lifted.

Police are searching for a suspect in two robberies.

Elementary and middle schools within District 112 and Highland Park High School in District 113 were on soft lockdown Monday morning while police searched for a suspect in two robberies.

Police say a subway sandwich shop was robbed Sunday night and Monday morning, Elm Place Tailoring Cleaners was hit.

No word on an arrest.
