Butler returns to lead Bulls to 106-105 win at Minnesota
(Minneapolis, Minn.) — Jimmy Butler played in his first game of the season for the Chicago Bulls and came up clutch, hitting two free throws with 0.2 seconds remaining to lead the Bulls to a 106-105 win at the Minnesota Timberwolves Saturday night.
Butler scored a team high 24 points as the Bulls played shorthanded without Derrick Rose or Taj Gibson. Rose sat out after spraining both ankles in the Bulls loss to Cleveland Friday night. Gibson also sat out after injuring his ankle Friday night as well.
The Bulls improve to 2-1 on the season and host the Orlando Magic Tuesday night.
