A man and a woman are each being held on $1 million bond after authorities say they stabbed a woman to death during a dispute over a parking space, KTLA reports.

Reggie Cervantes, 22, and Brenda Rangel, 19, both of South Los Angeles, are charged in the murder of Elizabeth Yanez, 43, of Whittier, Calif.

It happened at about 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet located at 13000 block of Alondra Boulevard.

When officers responded to a fight in the swap meet parking lot, they found Yanez lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds to her neck and back, police said.

Yanez, whose two adult children witnessed the attack, was transported to UCI Medical Center where she later died.

“It doesn’t make sense to me,” daughter Renee Crable told KTLA. “For a parking space, it was just uncalled for. I mean I just don’t understand how … I’m supposed to go on with my life now.”

According to KTLA, detectives were able to get fingerprints from the Yanez’s car which led to the arrests Cervante and Rangel.

Really, people? Victim-blaming? When someone’s going to stab someone else, they don’t just pull out a knife and wave it around giving you time to react. The knife comes out, the knife goes in.
Now imagine being in that situation. You’re unarmed, and these two people have freaking knives. Chances are you’ll be in a state of shock and panic. You’ve just watched a loved one get murdered in front of your face. You could TRY to rush them, but you’ll be so freaked out and unfocused that chances are, you’ll just be rushing to your own death.
All of you blaming the children, I would suggest you go out and throw yourself into the same situation. Go see someone pull out a knife and stab someone you know. If you can do better, then you can criticize.

Dumb btch. She had it coming just like all of them that gotten killed over stupid disputes. I’m gonna bestow some “Real” world wisdom to all of you A-holes out there: Guess what, keep acting like a dick and someday you gonna meet someone who is just as big a dick as you are only crazier; and you gonna get yourself killed. Just like that guy that got shot in the movie theater or the guy that got beat up at a sport stadium or that girl that got killed outside a night club; DON’T start sh-it with nobody.
