A student who says she was raped in her college dorm room is protesting the way school officials handled her case.
Emma Sulkowicz is carrying a mattress with her on campus at Columbia University in New York.
She’s one of 23-students who are part of a federal Title IX complaint filed against Columbia for allegedly mishandling sexual-assault cases.
Sulkowicz says she was raped in 2012.
She reported the assault several months later after two other students accused the same man of sexually assaulting them.
The University found the accused student “not reponsible” for all three cases and he remains on campus.
Sulkowicz says she will carry the mattress around campus until her alleged rapist is expelled.
