Kraft Foods Group has ordered a recall of 7,691 cases of American cheese slices.
The Northfield, Illinois-based company discovered one of its suppliers didn’t store an ingredient at the correct temperature.
Kraft said that could have spoiled some of the cheese.
The recall applies to Kraft American Singles Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product in the 12-, 16- or 24-ounce sizes with a “best when used by” date of February 20th, 2015.
They’re also recalling the 12-ounce size with the “best when used by” date of February 21.
Kraft said there have been no complaints of illnesses reported.
