Hot Doug’s joins Hot Dog Hall of Fame
A popular hot dog restaurant on the northwest side of Chicago will receive a special honor.
Hot Doug’s will be inducted into the Vienna Beef hall of fame tomorrow.
The recognition comes about a month before the hot dog stand shuts-down for good.
That’s set to happen at the end of September.
Owner Doug Sohn says it’s time to do something else.
Hot Doug’s has been on on the corner of Roscoe and California since 2004, often drawing huge crowds.
