Four people were shot in the 6700 block of South Stony Island Avenue around 10:40 p.m. in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the thigh, an 22-year-old woman was shot in the leg, and a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
An 18 year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her stomach but refused treatment.
The four were standing in the parking lot in front of the strip mall when a 4-door white vehicle circled around them and fired shots Chicago Police said.
The vehicle fled southbound on Stony Island Avenue.
The victims do not have any gang affiliations.
Area Central detectives continue to investigate a possible motive.
