Turkey and Curried Cranberry Slaw Sandwich
2 slices Whole Wheat bread
3 ounces turkey breast, sliced
1/2 cup broccoli slaw
1 Tablespoon dried cranberries
1 Tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon curry powder
Dash of salt to taste
Lay the bread slices out and place turkey on one slice. In a small bowl, add the slaw, cranberries, yogurt, curry powder and salt. Mix gently until combined. Dollop the slaw mixture on top of the turkey covered bread; put the other slice on top to make a sandwich. Slice it in half and serve with unsweetened iced tea.
Apple and Chipotle Cheddar Sandwich
2 slices Brownberry® Health Nut bread
1 Tablespoon chipotle mustard
¼ medium apple, thinly sliced
1 ounce cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
1 Romaine lettuce leaf
Lay the bread slices out and schmear them with chipotle mustard. Top a slice with apples, cheese and lettuce. Place the other slice of bread on top to make a sandwich. Slice it in half and serve with sparkling water.
Nutty Banana Sandwich
1 Brownberry Sandwich Thins Rolls Healthy Multi-Grain roll
1 Tablespoon all-natural peanut or almond butter
1/2 small banana, sliced
sprinkle of ground cinnamon
Lay the bread slices out and schmear one slice with nut butter. Top that slice with the banana and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place the other slice of bread on top to make a sandwich. Serve as a delicious, on-the-go breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea.
