The U.S. final, which begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC-7, marks the farthest a Chicago team has advanced since North Roseland played for the title in 1967.
There will be two public viewing parties for today’s championship game:
1. South Side at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center at 1250 W. 119th Street.
2. In the Loop on State Street between Randolph and Lake Streets.
