Cubs Game Notes For Friday vs. Baltimore

*The Orioles and Cubs have played just six games all-time, tied for the fewest in any interleague series involving teams that have not switched leagues in the interleague era.

*The Orioles are averaging 6.43 runs per game vs. National League teams today.

*Cubs pitchers have fared well at home, posting the lowest team ERA at “the friendly confines” in over 20 years at 3.44.

*Chicago hasn’t scored five runs in any of its last 16 home games, tied for the longest such drought in team history.

* Former Oriole Jake Arrieta has found the going much easier in the National League than he did in the AL since being traded last July. He is 10-6 with a 2.93 ERA after going 20-25 with the O’s and posting a 5/46 ERA.
