A babysitter narrowly escaped death at a North Side park Wednesday.
A large tree limb fell on her while she was watching three children at Touhy Park.
The 24-year-old woman suffered a broken leg, and a number of scrapes, cuts and bruises.
Police officers pulled her out from under the limb.
She was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
The children were not hurt.
