Feds to conduct autopsy on Chicago area woman murdered in Bali
Federal investigators planned to conduct an autopsy on a woman from Chicago who was murdered while on vacation in Bali.
The remains of Sheila Von Wiese-Mack were taken to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware after arriving in the U.S. Wednesday.
Mack’s daughter, Heather, and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, are being held on suicide watch in connection with the killing.
Von Wiese-Mack’s brother says his sister was excited about the trip with her daughter but that Schaeffer might have shown up in Bali without Sheila’s prior knowledge.
A Chicago memorial for Sheila Von Wiese-Mack is planned for next month.
