Governor Quinn gets iced in ALS challenge

Governor Pat Quinn is the next contestant in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

The challenge is exploding across social media to raise awareness for ALS, commonly known ans Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Here's how it works: After getting soaked, the person then nominates someone to do the same within 24 hours.

If they fail to do so, they must donate money to charity.

In the past two week, $4 million dollars has been donated - almost four times the amount from last year.

    As much as I am not impressed with Gov. Quinn I have to admit he is from the correct political party. Even thought he threatened to withhold Illinois legislator’s paychecks last year , he didn’t get indicted by the feds. (I wonder why) And he didn’t throw an entire police department under the bus like Dem. Governor Nixon of Missouri has.
