Crowd gathers at Chicago’s Bean for Ice Bucket Challenge

A chilly challenge for a good cause is sweeping the country.

The ALS Ice Bucket challenge has gone viral, getting support from celebrities and regular folks alike. It dares people to donate to the charity or dump a bucket of frozen cubes on their heads to raise awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Participants also get to dare others they know to do it.

Today at Millennium Park, a large group gathered to do the Ice Bucket Challenge all at the same time.
