Everything from lunchboxes to games to some of our favorite characters of yesteryear, are making their way into the hands of Joel MaGee: The Toy Scout.

12 months of the year, Joel scours the the country looking for the best toys of the 20th Century trading the items that defined our youth for cold hard cash.

And for five days Joel will set up shop in different locations across Chicagoland looking for not necessarily the most perfect, but the most cherished items.

Fellow toy enthusiasts filed into the Mariott Courtyard near Midway today, hoping for a financial boon.

The right condition, well cared for and well packaged are all a big plus for trading says Joel.

Check your homes, Joel says a lot of fabulous finds are right here in the Midwest.
