For the first time in 31 years, Chicago has a team in the Little League World Series.

Jackie Robinson West came from behind to defeat Indiana, 12-7, wining the Great Lakes Region title.

After being down 5-0, and then 7-3, West’s Trey Hondras ignited a big inning with an opposite field home run.

Next, Cameron Buford, also homered to the opposite field.

It was a grand slam and 7-run inning that propelled the team to victory.

The team now heads to  Williamsport, Pennsylvania for their next game.
