Girl, 14, sexually assaulted in Humboldt Park

A young girl was sexually assaulted in Humboldt Park early Saturday morning.

According to the Chicago Police Department, at about 12:15 a.m., a girl, 14, was walking in the 2800 block of Division Street when a male stranger approached her. The man tried to converse with her, but she refused. The offender then grabbed the victim and sexually assaulted her.

The man fled westward in a blue SUV.

Police describe him as a Hispanic man between 20 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds with medium-length black hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue pants.

Police remind the community to be aware of surroundings and report suspicious activity immediately.

    It’s obvious that the video showed the truck with the plates. Is the camera that shity or what? Check the plates on the truck!!!! What good is the camera if you can’t use it for what it’s for!!!!!!

    Why is this 14 year old Girl, outside, after midnight, OH never mind after Midnight, why is this 14 year old girls outside, after 8:30pm. Where are her parents? Where were Her parents? If she was outside at that time, where was she going or where was she coming from?. it’s sad to hear or read something like this happening,,, but the reality is where are her parents, & why was she out in the streets at that time? Especially in the Humboldt Park Neighborhood, She is lucky to even be alive.. God bless her, & I honestly hope they catch this sick individual before he hurts someone else.
