A possible candidate for mayor says Rahm Emanuel has it out for eight aldermen who have stood up against him.
Ald. Bob Fioretti, 2nd Ward, tells the Chicago Sun-Times that Emanuel’s allies formed a new Super PAC to bring down the so-called “Progressive Caucus.”
That includes Fioretti and seven other aldermen.
Fioretti, who is reportedly considering running for mayor, says the Super PAC’s goal is to raise money toward getting them voted out of office.
The Super PAC says its mission is to advocate for issues like better schools, jobs, and neighborhoods.
