New Jersey roller coaster loses power, leaves riders stranded

What was meant to be a fun ride turned into a scary moment at a Six Flags amusement park in New Jersey.

The Nitro roller coaster lost power and stopped working Friday afternoon leaving some riders stuck 230 feet in the air.

They were forced to walk all the way down the emergency stairs next to the stairs - very carefully.

Everyone was safely on the ground within 25 minutes, and the ride reopened an hour later after safety checks.
