A suspect who left the scene of an accident on the Eisenhower Expressway is in custody and being treated at a hospital.

Police say the two-vehicle crash took place early today on the Ike near First Avenue.

Police have a lot of fear no order to drop the weapon just a shot in the back. Bring new teachers to the academy please.

Do you really need to be told to drop the weapon when you are running away from the police..,. Because you shot a person in an auto accident? Do you even know who the good guys and bad guys are anymore?

Editors: The Eisenhower Expressway shut down early Sunday morning for more than three hours after a car accident LED to a shooting.

Draw a gun and run, then confront an armed officer and expect what? Looks like suicide by cop. Bill the family for the cost of the bullet and give a bonus to the cop.

Just another day at the office, huh Rahm & Chief McCarthy?
But preach your propoganda in the news on how murders are down.
    What a sick joke.
All I can say is the person who pulled the gun after the accident, then ran from someone who indentified themselves as a police officer.

    GOT
    EXACTLY WHAT THEY DESERVED.

Too bad the tax payers have to pay for that persons medical expenses and incarceration.
