Deadly Ebola cases have now been reported in Nigeria, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

World Health Organization officials have tracked 1,200 cases so far and more than half of those patients have died.

Two American health care workers are among the sick.

Street protests have broken out across the country over the government’s handling of the outbreak,  including one angry angry crowd that threatened to burn down a hospital where Ebola patients have been isolated.

The disease kills 90% of those affected and there is no known cure.

Doctors say the Ebola virus doesn’t spread in the air, it spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids or infected animals.

Officials say this is the largest outbreak ever recorded.
