A man is in stable condition after being shot during a robbery Saturday morning on the city’s South Side.
The man was rehabbing a building near 60th Street and Aberdeen Street in the Englewood neighborhood at 10 a.m.
The armed man entered the building and demanded money from him. The victim handed over the money and the robber shot him in the mouth. The robber fled on foot.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital.
No one is in custody as police continue their investigation.
