Two vigils were held today to remember the 11-year-old girl killed when a bullet went through a window Friday night.
Shamiya Adams was at a friend's sleepover near Gladys and Springfield in East Garfield Park where relatives say the kids were having a pretend campfire.
Adams was eating a s’more when a bullet ripped through the bedroom window and struck her in the head.
One vigil was held this morning at her West Side church, the other this afternoon at the scene of her death.
Community activists offer an $8,000 dollar reward for information leading to the person who killed her.
