Power outage hits Six Flags Great America

Things are expected to be back to normal today at Six Flags Great America after a power outage hit the Gurnee amusement park Saturday.

Power went out at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, leaving people stranded on several rides.

A park spokeswoman said all riders were safely unloaded from the rides.

ComEd is trying to determine the cause of the outage.

    Com Ed, a big company getting bigger. They want their money on time for service. However you loose service and want your power on, good luck.
    They will restore it whenever the get good and ready. No accountability.

    I was right in front of the door to get on batman than the power went out I feel so bad for the people who were stranded on the rides especially American Eagle that must have been terrifying
