A Chicago man died after being tased by a police officer Saturday afternoon
41-year-old Francisco Rocha was reportedly fighting with two people in the 4200 block of South Richmond on the Southwest Side.
Police were called and attempted to break up the fight when Rocha reportedly turned on the officers.
One officer then used a stun gun on Rocha.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is being done to determine the cause.
The case is under investigation by the Independent Police Review Authority.
Oops they did it again
While I sincerely feel bad for the deseased family.
I also feel bad for the police officer who now has to go through life knowing they had little choice but to taser this man that took his life.
At the end of the day, if the deseased would’ve listened to the police officers commands I doubt he would be deseased.

Did Francisco speak English ?

What does it matter what language he spoke? Pretty ignorant comment.

I know Francisco , and he had high blood pressure, and was a diabetic as well. Police in Chicago don’t care about who they taser . Three officers can easily detain one person, oppose to using a taser, that can cause cardiac arrest. Francisco was a father of three teenage kids… And a good friend.

Jay Mike you must really know Cisco! I truly feel sorry for his family but is this the same gun toting, hot headed, gang banger/car thief and drug dealer that I know? I’m sure the police told him they would use the taser if he continued to resist but “call me crazy”maybe diffusing the situation with words wasn’t working! Sure sounds like good ol “Cisco G” to me!
